New Chemical Solvent for CO2 Capture
Before I file my fatty alcohol article for ICIS Chemical Business
today…here is an interesting development on carbon capture technology
coming from German companies RWE, BASF and Linde.

The companies claimed that new chemical solvents can increase
efficient separation of carbon dioxide from flue gas by being able to
reduce energy input by 20%. The new solvents also feature superior
oxygen stability, which reduces solvent consumption…
